Went out today for a hunt at a site that we have hunted a few times. After a long walk to the field we found the grass were pretty tall. I did manage to find some areas that I could swing pretty easy. I found a dropped wormed three ringer, bridle bit, brass tube and a brass mystery item. It is brass on the front and the back is lead filled. I have been told it is a kepi vent. Still researching for that one.

Any ideas on the brass item?

Nice finds Randy!! My first thought for the brass relic is part of a canteen water filter but I am not sure at all. I know I have seen them before. WTG, Q.

Thanks Quindy. The lead filled back has me stumped. I hope someone can identify it.
