Short hunt after work nets a little silver.......

Not much time to hunt lately...........the jobs have been steadily coming.........thank goodness. Finished grouting today the 720 6x6 tiles I hung from floor to ceiling in a bathroom this past week and needed to get out of that little 6x8 room and into some open spaces!!! Stopped at a middle school and hunted the curb strip for about an hour. Not much to show..........



except this stack (dug just as is) and the silver heart............

Great find on the silver! I haven't hunted the curb strips by my schools yet. Don't want the lookie-loos bugging me, I suppose. I head to the back fields mostly, but I will take your advice and try it! Sub

Thanks, Sub.........Skippy SH13 was the one to convince me of the value of schools. I've hunted the play area at this site a few times. I chose part of the curb strip today because I want the neighborhood to get used to seeing me when I attack the upper level entries, the wooded picnic area and the ball field...........

Update: Ran a couple of simple tests on this little piece........



Non magnetic, doesn't scratch glass and it leaves a yellowish streak on unfinished porcelain...........gold??

I doubt it, banners are awarded within a few days of the post. It was a dream find for me, got into the 1700s here in Ohio. You never know what's there until you swing your coil over it. GL & HH
