[TD]Got permission on an old farm just two miles from home. Dug a real nice 1905 Indian, some clad, some misc items but also uncovered something cool while digging a penny. I dug a Petoskey stone. (The following is for out of staters) It's a type of fossilized coral. Most are found 260 miles north of me in Lake MI near the town of Petoskey. They are our state stone, and it is pretty rare to uncover one in the dirt. I do know a guy that dug some while digging a pond about 6 miles from me. A true Michigan treasure.
