Short hunt today, any idea what the J thing is?

Found the 3 ringer within 2 minutes, always a bad sign for me lol, last thing I found was this J looking thing, anyone have a clue?

Absolutely. And let me say that it's a relic that you very SELDOM see dug--becuase they are small, thin iron, and read like nails. Great find!

Note the flat sides. They're a dead giveaway on a flint striker. Great ID, plymouthian!
