Started off slow then in the last 30 minutes pulled 2 buttons and a nice 1861 seated dime with great detail. I can't find any info on the smaller button. Says Morling Balt. On it and has patterns front and back. The larger coat button has a faint line design on it.
Very pleased with the hour and a half I went out in the rain today. But MAN is that site filled with iron and square nails. Worth it but it's slow goin. The 2 buttons came out of the same hole along with 5 or 6 small square nails. The dime was mere feet away and the confederate droop wing button I found last week was found 10 ft from where these were.
Anyone have any info on the morling balt?

Congrats on pulling those keepers today. :occasion14: You sure are successful pulling good target out of that iron infested site.

I'm impressed by the deus capabilities and it's done great thus far. I picked up an xterra 705 with 6"dd coil which will hopefully give me a small edge when it comes to these good targets hiding amongst not one or two but a blanket of nails. Wish the deus offered a 6er. Love it but would love a smaller coil

Dont see many seated from the 1860's. Nice digs

Nice digs, Sweet dime.

Great pile of finds and a great hunt.
Congrats.

Awesome 61 Seated!!! Like someone said above; not too many pop up these days! :occasion14:

Congrats on the seated dime and other finds
