I'm trying the new hockey puck coil I got from that nice fellow Swampfox... It works GREAT!

With a fast, reckless swing, it will give a small beep from targets 2 to almost 3 or 4" outside it's dimensions. That's a good thing! Then you can quickly focus on that signal and check it out better.

I still feel silly with a itty bitty 4" coil on the MD, though!

Here's the scrap, from an hours hunt on a sports field.
If Au had been there, I think I would have got it...

And here's what I found on my fence, when I got home! These guys were REAL busy!

better make sure those aren't the africanized bees cause all it takes is the carbon dioxide from your breath to set them off.

true...weather a bit quieter today down your way Gonehunting?

Sounds like a fun coil I have a shooter coil too, have not used it much.

MAN....!! I heard some messed up stuff about those killer bees. Most horse fly's and bees will fly away if you jump into water. The African Killer Bee, will wait for you to come up for air. Once one of them notices you he tells all the others and they all come after you. When They sting you it lets out a odor that the other bees smell and they will come from 100's of feet away even 1000's. If they smell it to help attack.

if so you can take care of any type bee by----mixing some dish soap with a bucket of warm water stand back and heave the mixture onto them and they will drop to the ground pretty much killing them---thats if you wanted to rid your fence of them

saw this on a documentary about killer bees

...actually I was kinda disappointed because I got no more hives that I could have set them in...

These were the NICEST bees I think I've ever seen.
Minutes earlier, when they were swarming all around I walked through the middle of them with nary a problem, and as you can see, I went right up to them for the picture.

They are the greatest little creatures... all you gotta do is provide them a nice clean, dry home, and they will work themselves to death bringing you the finest honey from all over your area!
They do ALL the work.

Can't beat that!

I sure do like honey. It's good!

Yup. I heard about those africans. Don't like them much.
Had a mean hive once... they were real stingers.
Closed 'em up that night, and put the hive in a couple hefty trash bags the next morning and filled 'er with water from the hose.
And that's all I have to say about that!

Should have stuck your head on the other side of the plank to make it look like a bee beard. Would have been very funny  :D
