Just under an hour in a tot lot. I suspect someone else has hunted it in the last couple of months as it was pretty clean. The car is missing it's bottom and wheels. 😩

Hope every one has a great 4th.

Hey still a hunt is a hunt...nice job!

Congrats on your finds and happy 4th to you

Happy 4th!

Not a bad haul at all.
I tried a tot lot once.
Recovered a stainless fork or spoon for a highlight.
Them kids were tough! Took all I had to toss them out like a sumo wrestler.....

Funny, when I find modern silverware it's always a spoon.

Have recovered a couple big ones. One in a park and the other on an old homestead. Kids were suspected though. The one in the park had been leaned on pretty hard.
Sometimes a sad burned junky type gets found and tossed . Not epidemic where I hunt yet. Visually anyway.

There are a couple non matching pieces in the silver wear drawer. Strange name for a place to keep non silver...

One found spoon is the anode in the electrolysis coffee tub. Operated outdoors for safety.

Spoons count!

Tam, glad to see you out and about, considering your circumstances. Keep your chin up.....and your coil down! Scotty aka Ddf

One thing with the tot lots looking as if they've been hunted is a lot of cities are using screens to clean the tot lots now to save time. Around here one crew uses what we used to call a beach cart towed by an ATV. Another city has a rig that actually has a brush like a street sweeper to push the material up the screen when towed. Have to say, those rigs do a fine job of scouring Everything. I have a small one that I used to use under the playground equipment where the kids dig. That was the only places goodies were found after they started the towed rigs. So, in reality my friend you had a way better day than you thought!

glad you got out, I'd say you are one lucky gal, you survived the fire so it is one step or day at a time but things have to get better for you

Just nice to get your therapy. I was out until after 3:00 a.m. last night or this morning as it were. Got a pair of clad Jefferson nickels and some trash from the ditches along the road in my hamlet. It was peaceful though. Keep it up.:icon_thumleft:

Nice little hunt. Love the Hot Wheels car and keep digging those pull tabs since one could be a gold ring!
