Sidewalk tear out treasures

Able to detect a tear out on a street that goes to the old and new schools. Exceeded expectations, final count 32 wheaties 09 to 58, 2 IH91&99, 36,39,44,52,Nickles, 31&45 Merc, 52 Rosie, 1914 Barber Quarter, 45 Wash.Cool 18K ring that was 6" under old walk, Interurban token from 1920-31. Eagle button with Excelsior backwards below the eagle. If anyone has an idea on ring age I would appreciate it. Eagle button cleaned up well, it's a 2 piece, not sure why print is backward. Any thoughts? Thanks for looking

Nice haul! Not sure on the button writing. If it were a seal, it would make sense, but not on a button? That 18K ring looks maybe just 18K plated?

Can't see anything on the back of the button. Looks like EXCELSIOR printed on the bottom of the obverse which would indicate a New York militia button. I found a similar button on Ebay that is listed as "Late 19th Century".

Just an update on this button, after comparing others, mine is stamped backward, the detail is not raised and the eagle is facing the wrong way . Really odd, thanks
