Sifter Question

Hey folks, what's the general consensus for the best screen size in sifters for relic hunting? Thanks!

I like 1/4 inch hardware cloth. Harder soil or hard clay, you might be happier with 1/2 inch. steve

I also use 1/4" hardware cloth in my sifters
