Looks like Hebrew. The rock appears to be one of those places everybody wants to leave their name. My guess is that one of those people was Hebrew. Probably not a treasure sign. But, I've been wrong before.

The uppermost word is probably BOB. . My Hebrew is postively ATROCIOUS but I will take a stab at it.

Since the carving has not been chalked out I would say that the writing stands for the name JOSHUA.
