Silver #5 From Coinstar

I had to stop off at the local supermarket on the way home and of course checked the Coinstar machine. In the tray was a single coin, a 1961-D Roosevelt...…..silver #5 for the year.

Nice find! Was it just sitting in the tray?? That's rare.

I used to work at a bank and they would task me on rolling coins. I found some silver coins and it became a fixation to check all the coins I rolled. Took me forever to get the job done.

They stopped letting me roll coins. Lol

Yes, the coin was sitting in the tray but it actually happens often.

They come in spurts....then nothing for awhile.
