Silver and Peace in a Farm Field

Hello Everyone,

I needed to relax today so metal detecting was the chosen medicine. Went to a perennial farm field to relax and hopefully find a few keepers. In reality, it didn’t matter if I found anything; fresh air, peace and quiet and beautiful weather are what I sought. My coil and eyes did find a few nice things: some coins, glassware, lead, pottery, musket ball and a few “odds and ends”.

Great finds Prof! I had the week from h e l l.
...and I feel your pain. I had to get out today, j didn't care if I had to detect out in the middle of my road...I was getting out. which I did. Weather was great, 82 degrees with a slight breeze, pulled a few keepers, nothing to write home about but I got out..the keepers were simply bonuses. Congrats..nice silvers..Ddf

it is we that choose to see a hunt as enjoyable or not. when it is just a simple hunt for pleasure, it becomes a fun hunt where your finds are just good no matter what. then the extra good ones become bonus finds that top the hunt off. relaxation definitely has its place. congrats
