I found the exact same tube this weekend. At least it looks exactly the same. Mine was lipstick, the top part just slid out, and there was still some red lipstick inside.

It is lipstick.
This is what is written on the tube.
Pull out to change the refill.
slip in a refill for Revlon Jewelers lipstick cases.
Lanolite none smear type. Wear it either way.
Blot on Don't blot.

I went to Oronoco, Mn park for a woods hunt.
The little bottle looks like a milk glass perfume. The bottom is rounded like a lipstick tube.
1957 Dime.

Congrats! One of our favorite finds was a lipstick tube. A tiny little Tangee. Learning the history was fun.
