I have not posted in quite sometime. I have been detecting this old tavern site for maybe 20 years, it never lets me down. The field was plowed the other day, this is a rare thing to happen these days. This silver dime was laying on top of the ground in a clump of dirt, go figure. The badge is from the early 30s. The last couple of years has been kind of messed up for me, with this Covid I have not approached any farmers just to be safe not to have them tell me to stay away. Now things are getting more relaxed. HH

Hi My Fellow TH'er
Congrats on the Seated New Orleans Seated Dime! I have yet to find any New Orleans coins so my bucket list is quite long! I will keep TH'ing and who knows one day that elusive 'O' Mint coin will find me! LOL I keep hoping anyway! ;-)

Good post like the silver. Covid has slowed me down as well.

Aureus found a seated half in Canada recently and now another Canadian found US seated. I think I will have to go to Canada to find me a seated. Gary

Amazing find! I love delving into the history of the travel of a coin- a New Orleans mint in Canada, San Fran and Carson City mints on Cape Cod- mind boggling...

Very nice coin. Always like the Seated's.
