I was googling trying to find a source to pick up a source to purchase some rounds without getting royally nailed by "over spot" charges. I dont know if the company has been mentioned here before or not, but Northwest Territorial Mint (www.nwtmint.com) seemed to have a pretty good deal. Unfortunate part is you have to purchase a minimum of 50 ounces, and shipping time is 10 - 12 weeks. I purchased 50 ounces for 10% over spot, and that was including shipping. Spot at the time was 13.60 and I got them for 14.97 each, and like I said, that included shipping. Just another possible source to consider.

Looks like it could be a good place to get it from if the price continues to go up, thanks for posting!

Your welcome. I got tired of all of the local sources charging 50% over spot, so I decided to so some looking at the internet. The ones I mentioned are apparently ones they mint themselves. They have also the maple leafs, and others, but those go for an extra premium. I figure, if they have the same amount of PM, why pay extra just for what is stamped on it (maple leaf, US walking liberty, etc).

I get on another forum where everybody gets bullion, NWT mint doesn't have a very good track record over there. You realize 12 weeks is 3 months right. I know guys who waited alot longer than that from them. I hope all works smoothly for you though. Personally I'm not waiting that long. HH Mark

when waiting that long for arrival it is very possible they will come back worth less than when you actually paid for them
