The wife was was gone to the National Guards this weekend, so got in 2 good days of hunting this weekend, about 8 hours each day, used the Ace 350 on both days. On Saturday I went back to the old campground I have been working on since January, and today because of some intermittent rain I stayed closer to home and worked on the trashy picnic areas in some local parks. Was able to pull out a few keepers including 8 more silver coins, 3 Buffalo nickels, and 51 wheaties. The silvers were: 7 dimes, 1914-D, 1923, 1941, 1942-D, 1944, 1945, and 1953-D, and 1 war nickel, 1943-P. The Buffalo nickels were 1936, 1936, and 1937. Also got a Belgium 1916 10 Cent, a 1949 Uncle Sam Play Dime, a pocketknife, a couple of aluminum jewelry crosses, What I think is a spent .45 bullet, and a Tootsietoy Truck. The war nickel, 2 of the buffalo nickels, and 2 of the other Jefferson nickels were all found in the same hole. All in all not too bad of a weekend!!!
