It had been a while since I'd MD'd one of the older parks in central Tucson. Noticed the city had done some renovation around a playground set where 4-5" of soil had been removed. Within this area, I was able to uncover a silver dime and 2 wheaties. This park has been pounded to death by other detectorists through the years, so it was nice to get a silver which the others weren't able to. And glad i got there before the other local hobbyists did. They are a persistent bunch. First silver coin since July of last year--nice to break the cool streak. The wheaties are 1944 and 1954. HH.
