Silver Dime Trifecta – 10/23/10

Went to my favorite park Friday night for 2 hours. Got an 1897 IH, 1900 V Nickel, 1903 Barber Dime and 8 wheaties. The Barber was in the same hole as the V Nickel and 2 early wheaties. The dime has full liberty but has some weird gray toning/discoloration on it that will not come off.

Met up with Etrac 007 at the same park on Saturday. Seemed like the signals were coming in real good today. A lot of my finds were in areas I have hunted many times. I got 3 IHs – 1890, 1902 and a 1901 that I dinged. 4 silver dimes – 1911 and 1912 Barbers, a 1944 Merc and a 1951D Rosie to complete the trifecta. Also found a whopping 27 wheaties.
