Decided to go looking for American silver eagles at banks that sell them since they don't price them up along with silver prices here is what I picked up along with few things from antique shop too
Silver eagles
2 2007 s for $26.95 each
5 2009 s for $29.95 each
1. 2010 for $35.00 mainly bought cuz didn't have one yet
2. 2002 s for $25.00 each
1. 2001 Christmas reverse for $21.95
2. Precious moments 1 oz rounds for $21.95 each
Previously had bought 2008 for $29.95 and 2004 for $24.95 from one of the banks
Also one of banks is sending 5 more 2009 s from another branch to here in town for 29.95 each. Hoping to take some and trade I need 2005 for my sons birth year to go with daughters 2008 birth year one.
Also bought few things at antique shop
Roosevelt silver set in book 48 dimes for $85 and Indian 1 oz round for 35 and civil war Dix no date token for $10 last one seen on eBay was over 40

Yep,

This is a great way to score silver! I got two one ounce rounds (lost tooth and new baby) on sale at a bank here a little while ago for 50% off!!! Paid $17 each for them.

Need to look around some more based on your scores!

Way to go!

Ya they have good amount of the special occasion ones too for $30 each baby born, bday etc.

how do you ask for it at the bank?

Some banks sell collectible and bullion coins some don't here they have case displays they are in just ask teller and hh!

Those are some great scores! I've never seen any like those from any banks around here.

How do you find a bank that sells eagles?

I've never seen them for sale and I have only asked about them a couple of times because every time I did ask they looked at me like I was crazy.
