Very nice find! Ocasionally it's still out there....i received a silver war nickel just a few days ago in my change!

Nice.
Got my last one as change at my pharmacy about 6 months ago.

I love when they put the change down on the counter. You don't even have to look at it that way. That distinct sound silver gives is music to my ears!

The best price I could find for a silver quarter is $3.29 - Not bad, about 13 times face value!

A few months ago, I bought a Morgan and a Peace dollar from a fellow at work that had worked at a fast food place years ago. He said a little old fellow came through the drive thru and paid for fries and a coffee with them.

You're right! The clink of a silver coin is music to my ears. And that's crazy! Just goes to show you that a lot of people don't know what they have. That would be like paying $40 for a coffee and fries!

Yep. It's out there all right. Just have to keep your eyes open

I got a nice '63 yesterday when I got change from the changer at the car wash. Second one this summer from the same car wash! They are out there!

My son works at a gas station part time and was handed 8 silver Washingtons by a customer. People must be spending their whole coin collections in hard times.

wow! I guess so!

Nothing like getting paid to shop!
Times get hard and people spend the silver their relatives probably saved!

My wife found 2 red seal $2 bills and 3 $1 silver certificates in the till at her work. My son in law found a 1904 barber half in the till at his convenience store. I still haven't found my first silver coin.
