Hunted our back property in VT many times and found some good stuff over the years. Thought it was cleaned out except for a lot of junk, but it was too nice outside to not go one last time. A lot of rusted metal but there was a little different sound along with a square nail. The thrill of silver coming out of the dirt never gets old. It's very worn but still happy to find it!

Oh yea, A barber is always a welcome Find!!

Love it... just when you think its all hunted out!!

I've hit my yard many, many times, but if I can't get anywhere else I'll still hit it when the fire of detecting is burning.

Just goes to prove that the only time something is really hunted out is when the batteries are dead. Way to keep at it...Brad

Great story and wonderful save! :icon_thumright:

great job....pulling that out of the iron is its own reward....love all the barbers !!

Nice save, it never gets old pulling out silver

Persistence can really pay off, way to pull the sneaky silver!

Very nice silver dime recovery.
