Had a great couple of hunts this week at a site that has produced some fantastic colonial artifacts. Silver had eluded me but I ended up getting three Spanish real in one day and then some other silver artifacts on the next hunt.

My first cut coin a quarter of a Charles III 4 Real
This 1781, 1/2 real was holed then nailed, then looks like it was in a fire

This 1 real really had it rough with severe fire damage. I was able to find faint writing on the edge to confirm what it was

Another first for me, a colonial folding fruit knife, silver blade. Makers Mark say its from Sheffield England.

And a flattened silver thimble, but its still silver.
