Hi I found several pennies (not wheats), a 1984 quarter and 2 nickles a 1940 and a 1955 I was wondering what year the guite making coins silver (are the nickles silver)and the best way to clean em up, I know there are other forums for that but any info would help, I was hunting for about 2 hrs at a old church built in 1886 in central Texas (there are plenty of them here) I was using a inexpesive Tracker IV,. everything including a ton of aluminum foil was no more than 3 inches deep, I'm thinkin with a better detector I could do better go deeper (and get older coins) at this sight Does that sound right. Thanks for sharring ya'lls experience
