Hi everyone. I have'nt been out to detect in 6 or 7 weeks so this morning I decided to head back to the park that gave up around 30 pieces of silver in the last few months.
I got lucky since it looked like they mowed the grass yesterday. I managed a 1948 quarter at approx 6-7 inches and a shallow 1964 rosie. Also two wheats 44 and 45. I found a piece of something that' says Uncle Henry on it and a sad find of a memorial to someone killed by terrorists in Israel. There's still alot of digging left to do at this park. I've only been digging it on high disc to pull out the coins so far. Little by little I'll start backing down the disc to see what else lies buried there. I must say it sure felt good to get multiple silver on my first outing after my mini hiatus. Good luck to all.
