out doing an 1812 house yesterday, mostly wheaties scattered across front lawn and two silver dimes. Then closer to the house front door two plated rings and a fork came out. One ring is silver plated, the other a speck of gold still showing. I guess this answers my wondering bout copper rings that have been found- they were plated at one time. What I want to know--any info on the fork would be helpful. (so appropriate for this season!!) thanks, da Prof--

I hope these pix are defining enough---
on the back is only EXTRA{coin silver} PLATE--- no hallmark--

I've dug, seen, and ID'd a lot of patterns, that's a new one for me. Happy Easter :)
This is the most comprehensive pattern catalog I know of.
also the most time consuming with no search or manufacturer filtering.
If ya got time it may be there. HH to ya :thumbsup:silverpattern.com

You rang? :)

Since the fork is only approximately 5 inches long and has the 2 bunnies, I think it is a child's fork. There are many flatware companies who make 'children/babies sets,' which usually consist of just a spoon and fork. If you GOOGLE 'child baby bunny rabbit flatware,' you'll see lots of these sets.

Neat finds :)

Yeah, I couldn't find the exact one either. More than likely, a flatware company did not make this as a regular pattern, but just as a novelty.
