Silver plated spoon!

Today I had found what I believe is a R.C.Co silver plated spoon plated by Avon. I believe it’s 1940s. Found 6 inches deep in my backyard!!

Yes indeedy, “Avon Silver Plate” was a trademark of the International Silver Company… of which the Rogers Cutlery Company was part. That particular pattern was used both by Rogers and under the generic ISC umbrella. The pattern itself was known as “Avon 1940”. Having been first introduced in that year.
