Hey gang,
Wasn't going to post for a few days to let the finds build up but I finally got to metal detect at a Christian School playground; I've been waiting for the rugrats to get done hanging around there. Besides a bunch of clad I found a 925 silver necklace with a small box attached (also 925). My sister tells me its a prayer box...you put a prayer in it and wear the necklace. There wasn't any prayer in the box, I'm guessing that the prayer wasn't that they wouldn't lose the necklace. This post is three days worth.
Other notable find...the ring in the center with the pink heart stone; I can't tell for sure whether it is silver. It has some lettering on the inside of the band but my magnifying glass isn't strong enough to see what the letters/numbers are. Pretty ring though.
Up until a week or so ago I had never seen a Euro coin, the first two coins shown on the first picture are Euro coins. The next two are Mexican followed by a Chucky Cheese token (my second). The third picture is the clad, minus the 112 pennies that were too bashful to get their picture taken. 81 of those pennies were found today.
Happy hunting all.
