I went detecting for about six hours today downtown Eugene Oregon ~ found a total of 135 coins ~ 1958-D Silver quarter, two 1943-S WAR nickels found together in the same hole, 1942 & 1947 Canadian cents, 83 memorial cents, 8 wheat cents (1948 to 1953), 6 nickels, 19 clad dimes, 13 clad quarters, 1974 L.T.D. bus token, 1985 Lane county dog licence tag.

Just a few days ago I posted about a toy gun I detected that was filled with red ants ~ TODAY I found another toy gun filled with red ants! This time I didn't bring 'em home ~ I opened up the gun and sat it in a tree for an hour or so, then they all were gone when I came back to pick it up before I went home.

Those are some nice finds , are you planning on cleaning up the pistol?

That is cleaned up! It's in pretty rough shape! I just noticed that the side of the toy gun reads "GENE AUTRY" ~ cool!
