Silver ring found. (UPDATED!!!)

Hi all ! So I have oficially found my second silver ring.

I was on a trip all weekend traveling across Texas with a friend. We went to a lot of Ghost Towns, but didn't get to metal detect much because we were running behind schedule and had to hurry to our camp to set up. The ground was really hard as well.

We stopped in WHON,TX - and found this abandoned falling down house. There were no signs saying DO NOT TRESPESS or any gates , so we went ahead and stopped and went inside.

Walking around the house there was a lot of junk left behind. I was looking around on the floor and found this ring. The ring was black and brown and you couldn't really tell what it was. I automatically thought it was not silver, but it turns out that it is, after cleaning it up !

Need help identifying the symbols on it. Took it to a jeweler and it was confirmed to be silver.

The bottom part of the ring has a 'diamond' makers mark on it....

My mother even said that she thought it to be Middle Eastern as well.....

She took it to the gas station and asked one of the little Indian guys in there... He was laughing haha.... He said he had no idea....

Sounds like they weren't taking your Mom seriously and thought it was just a joke them. I'd email your local museum a photo of it there in Texas, because it's a very specialized design.

I have an Eastern Indian guy that i show items to who works at a convenience store fifty steps from my place and he is the most superstitious person i have ever met!!!! He says if you find any item with a stone in it that you have to sleep with it under your pillow and if you wake up with a stiff neck you must go our immediately and throw it into a empty Field as far as you can throw it!!!!! I still dint know where he lives so that i can find the closest Field to him!!!!

I was looking at the ring this morning and it's looking more gold....I took pictures of it against my silver ring......The band of the ring is looking gold and so are the symbols....But the backdrop behind the symbols are silver....

Whatcha think?

Thank you ! It has definitely been a cool find, and I didn't even have to use a detecor (LOL) ! Gonna take it to another jewelry shop to see how much it may be worth,etc...
