So I had that feeling today. You know the one. That sense of something good will happen. So I walked the less than 10 minutes to the park. It's a good size place with a big hill and a flat field area. Last season I found 6 silver rings here, So I figured there had to be gold. I started on the hill, working under some shade trees. Lots of foil and tab signals were dug. After about an hour I hit the ring. It was stuck shallow in the roots. I got excited! Then I thought it was costume jewelry, as some red dirt made it look plated. Once home I got the ring under the tap and was smiling 100%

It's funny how I get those feelings to hunt.
I'm sure you guys have had similar experiences.

I usually get my fine feeling about gold after it's in my hand, not before... but cheers to you for the sweet find! :occasion14:

If my feelings worked like yours, I would have a Capped Bust coin by now !! Congrats on your ring.

Ya i've had a few of those feelings.
They are never wrong....and you can't control them.
With one of mine came the thought "you should dig that signal"......it was right, my first gold grad ring.
