Silver ring?

Did some hunting today. Found a neat little ring that's in very bad shape. Possibly silver...

What would be the best way to clean this up?

Not sure about the cleaning but any ring is a good ring... except ring worm maybe

Looks like it could be old Indian silver. You can try Tarnex and a q tip. Very carefully dab the metal part and then wipe it off. The Tarnex will damage the stone so don't put too much on the q tip.

Nice find! So that's what happened to all the rings I can't find..."ring worm" !!!
