Went for my first hunt with a pi machine in the shallow water today. I loved it! Spent about four hours out there and came back with this nice sterling ring.

Yep definitely a good size ring I got 2 coins, one 2000 50c piece and a mystery coin that's worn pretty much flat.



As for iron I only got a couple of rusty nails and a heap of bottle caps. The beach was pretty clean though, more pull tabs and melted pieces of aluminium than iron.
