Domestics...check. get dressed check. Take Quota Guru for a walk....um swing....no car so I walked up to Marie's work grabbed a coff!ee and Nogo Sojo.

Stopped at a playing field that I had hammered many times. Just felt like getting out as it was one of those few days that I almost felt human. Quota wasn't living up to his name but the pennies started coming. Then that lovely bell tone sang out and I Idug what at first I thought was a piece of metal wrapped in plastic. Upon closer inspection my heart took a small leap as it turned out to be a coin holder with a 50 cent piece in it! Man 2000 from the Royal Mint celebrating hockey. Only the 8th 50 center I have dug in 52 years.

A few more coins and my knees let me know it was time to go home and get ready for work.

That is one of the things that I love about this hobby....you just never know what will come out of the ground next!

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Great find! Congrats!

At first I thought ?what is Leslie talking about.? 50 cent pieces are nickel now.?

But holy heck, yeah, that?s 92.5% silver and 100% awesome! Being in the container should mean it?s still in perfect condition too.

Great score!!!! Congrats!!!!

WTG Leslie!
Great to see your still getting out digging and getting a sweet reward for the efforts.
Stay well.

Yeah ! Nice find Leslie , I was happy to hear that it is Silver !!!

very cool save, never found one in the container. awesome

Very cool find- Congrats!

Only 8 in 52 years? Well, I guess that would be a hard coin to lose to begin with. 52 years of digging! That's impressive! Congrats!
