Found this guy today, my first silver. I think it’s 1858. At a location I’ve found civil war relics, but also a lot of trash and iron. Was using my Teknetics T2, stock coil, 2+ tones, discrimination set at 40. Got a nice consistent squeaky signal, low 70s. Pull this from about 5-6” down and was super stoked!

Are you kidding me, your first silver is a trime?? I've been at this 27 years, have found 800+ silver coins in a very old area of the country, and STILL don't have one of those- Amazing find- Congrats!!

Very nice coin. Those 3 Cent pieces are tough to come by.
