I want to move to Hungary.

Great find. Looks like it held a stone originally.

That is a very interesting silver item. Do you think it is very old?

I also like the silver coin. It is rare to see beautiful ones recovered without marks from the plow or bent in half.

Best Wishes to You.

Hey Garryson nice finds, its always nice to find silver! Especially from the 16th century. The mount is also interesting, do you know what it is? It looks even older...will look around and see what I can find... and what's with the caterpillar?

The square mount (if I found it here), I would have thought was Saxon 9-11th century. However they tend to have the beast looking back over their shoulder. The ring & dot pattern is typically Saxon but was used in Roman times as well as Medieval. So not knowing anything about Hungury's History, I have no idea.

Thanks Cru, at least its old!

That thing is very cool. Check out the cut on the stone... OLD. Is that a ruby? Looks fertility god...ish. Jealous.

I donot know yet. The goddess of the fertility is correct.

I'd guess that the red stone is a garnet crystal.
