I found this at work today. I'm having trouble finding info on it. It looks proof, and has all silver ridges. Drop test sounds silver. Any info on it?

Your coin is composed of nickel-plated steel. 4.43 g. (KM #765) 23.9 mm diameter.
I don't know the mintage but the current (2013) price list mentions retail value of $2.00 in MS-63 condition.

Sweet! I have one of those!

It is a Canadian commemorative quarter for the Winter Olympics. Mackaydon answered the rest of your question. Canadian coins will always have solid silver-colored edges.

I hate when that happens! Talk about riding the roller coaster of emotions!

When in doubt if its silver, use a magnet---silver will not stick to a magnet

There is no such thing as a clad Canadian. It can be 99.9% nickel or steel, but never clad.

The reeding on Canadian coin is different then American. I can usually tell from the reeding and then the question is whether the Canadian is silver or not.
