My two boxes didn't come in Wed, got one I couldn't afford last week but only got another '87D out of it. Withdrawals have set in haha. Lots of boxes coming in tomarrow- hope I don't have the shakes too bad to pick them up haha. Next week is ME busy week again I now have another bank that gets in $2000 a week for ME as long as I beat the competition to them- neither of us have an account but I take candy so if he gets some he won't get it all haha. If the "other" bank orders for you....why do you have to beat the competition there?? Maybe open an account with them with the minimum balance? Would that eliminate this issue?

She just orders cause we buy them. Little game of cat and mouse, she was orderin 2 boxes (you know we don't like to share haha). So she says to ME maybe I'll order $2000 next time in case the other guy comes in- knowing that I would always be thinking he got the better boxes I said then I will just have to bring $2000 and buy them all which is what happened. Last time I was there, she says "you don't have an acct here do you", No I don't. "What exactly are you looking for and where are you taking these when your done with them?" Shrug. "Thank god your not bringing them back here!" "Bet they love you", of course they do- I take them candy too. Then I got side tracted talking to an older teller who wants ME to try to find out what her $500 bill is worth and she got my halves but wasn't around when I left- teller did say she would have her order another $2000- if they ain't there when I go to pick them up then I won't have to make that drive anymore- but it is a pleasant drive and I do enjoy the games with the ladies haha. Boxes up here have been shameful and bad of late. But I did good on some hand rolls the other day.

I had decided to go hunting today, even after two branches called ME to tell ME my boxes were in I went anyways. Loaded up the truck with chocolate coins, sniffed my hoard sos that silver smell was fresh in my memory and hit the road. I may regret it in the morning when I'm trying to dump all these halves sos I can pick up todays 4 boxes by noon tomarrow but....."ya can't win ifn ya don't play". haha. Got the equivalent of 3 boxes worth of FED rolls and $1100 in hand rolls. I did go about it the wrong way though- I always hunted on the way before and ran out of money before I got where I really wanted so this time I drove right on by my previous haunts and by the time I was headed back my competition had cleaned them out a couple hours before I got there. Aw well- I'll beat the buggar next time haha. Actually I got him so good in Oct that this is not even near payback. In Oct when those awesome boxes were getting delivered I went to specifically get some there. We've got $900. Somebody bought $100 yesterday. I imagine he was on his way to get the rest cause the other $400 in that box was loaded. Suffice it to say my competition there no longer buys only $100 at a time haha. I'll report later I gots coin to search. HH Mark

No bonanza but not silverless anymore.

Out of $2600 I got 16 40%ers- it was a nice day and I enjoyed it. Just too bad I burned about $75 in gas, now to dump everything and get todays boxes tomarrow. HH all, Mark

I have noticed some new competitors up here too. In fact I keep poaching what they order in order to discourage them, even though the boxes are nearly empty of silver or only have a couple 40s, I think things are going to get really right for a while.
Only when new bank bags come in will new stuff get in there. But I have been cleaning out bank bags left and right. This is going to put a crimp in the supply.
I wonder how long it will be before some of these new competitors lose confidence and are chased out.

Kinda like fishing Dave. The real fishermen will keep their line in the water even if they don't get any bites....cause you never know when the big one will come by. Others will reel in and sell their tackle.

exactly what I am counting on, I am just trowing rocks in the water to scare off the fish LOL Or to just annoy the fishermen to the point they wont fish there. If there is one thing I dont like its competition on limited resources.
People who hunt outside a 100 to 150 mile radius of me I could care less about, its my own back yard I dont like others in.

I guess I am a real bastard when it comes to the fed boxes I redeposit back at banks I know other CRHs go to. I weigh them out. each roll that comes up light, gets put back, if its just the very tiny bit over, its opened to recover the silver. yes the scale is that accurate. I am sure maybe a 40 or so slips by but not any 90s! I wonder how they feel about all those skunk boxes and they dont even realizes it.

Sometimes I wonder if I should wright a book on how to be a total dick. LOL

Don't forget though that it was probably someone elses back yard before you got there. I can't come to your back yard you are to far away.

About the fishing thing which was an interesting analogy. When I lived in Alaska we would do the elbow to elbow fly fishing for salmon. When someone would get a fish they would yell FISH ON!!!!. So if they came down the line everyone would reel in so they could get by but if they took to long to get that fish in someone would just cut the line and we would all go back to fishing. LOL You have to be careful up there most men were packing guns and did not hesitate to draw on you if you got out of line. So if you go up there to fish don't be an @#%(%&!!!
