Simplex scored this beauty last night. 1876 Carson City Seated dime.
I find myself torn at what detector to use as I purchased the Nox 800, Simplex and also an AT max this year. Too many detectors not enough time (to learn them)

Congrats!! I can't wait for the day I get sat down!! Nice one!

Thanks,
I only get a couple silvers a year. If I can get 1 seated that's a bonus.

Thank you :)

Very nice...I'm still hoping for one!

A a rare and great find - a big congrats ! :occasion14:

Carson City silver coins are "Hens Teeth" this far East.
I never thought I had a chance of finding a "CC" mint marked coins here in Ohio - but I got real lucky this past Spring - dug a 1877 CC Seated Dime in almost mint condition !

Good Hunting !

P.S. - Just my opinion but ... I'd focus on the NOX.

Nice find. I'm in Minnesota, so i've never found one of those, not too many pre 1900 coins found here, other then the occasional indian head penny...

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

My first glance: He found a Seated Liberty, that's nice.
Me after looking closer: It's an 1876 centennial, that's amazing!
Me after reading: It's a Carson City!!!!? Holy sweet jesus! Haha! You killed it mate, checked all the score cards on this one!8-)

Congrats on a great looking coin. I have found many Seated coins, but none that have that coveted CC mint mark. Great coin.

I think a lot more of the Carson City seateds made their way back east than you would think for some reason. Ive got around 10 dimes including a 1878 key date and I see them on here and on youtube quite often

Thanks :)
I was on here back around 2010-11, faded away but im back :)

Thanks, It certain was a thrill finding this one.
I am trying the nox, but the simplex is so...dare I say it...Simple.LOL
I know in my gut I need to focus on the nox though :)
Cheers
