Cool pics, and great gemstones..

Nice background. What state were these taken in?

Cool, was just out that way back in Sept. Archery Elk hunting near Clint's Well, and Happy Jack in 5 B south. I went down to Pine one day and looked at the artifacts in their Museum.

nice country down there quito...

i honestly was looking for arrow heads to photograph...all i found was an entire village, only chips and shards...?

well...i am going to be digging a foundation out there soon, so maybe i will find something nice.

Good luck with that foundation, it looks like some mighty rocky terrain down there. I am a concrete contractor, and know a little bit about foundations.

It will be interesting to see what you dig up when you start construction. I'll be applying for another hunt out there for this year, hope I draw, I love it out there. Been there 3 times in the last 5 years.

a friend an i have been going around about those stone...i say garnet...he says peridot...i have to admit the structure of the stone leads me towards peridot also.

the stones were found about 7 miles south of the garnet area on the navajo rez
