This story is legend in n/z..an advanced patrol of fourteen armed constabulary encamped in a small clearing and after being assured the place was safe by there commanding officer, were confronted the next morning by supposed freindlies..they shook hands and then realising this was a con took to there heels leaving there arms behind in the huts..nine were butchered and five managed to escape..they were found five days later, one was naked...it was mid winter ....
I skirted well away from the sacred place and about two hundred yards from the old hut sites i struck a musket ball at 6 inches..along with old callisher and terry cartridges...the ole cartridges arnt very collectable but the ole musket ball that would have been a parting shot at the survivors will hold pride and place for awhile it also fits my old muzzle loader, thanks for looking...

A very sad story, Des :'( Where are other relics, like belts, buttons etc? There must be something else somewhere. They were not naked all the time ;D
