Sites in Harris County

I live in Harris County, Deer Park to be exact. I am new to metal detecting and need some help finding some good sites.

Hi Brian,

I'll send you a PM today. The only sites off limits are the county owned precinct parks. City parks are generally OK. There is a detecting club in Pasadena you should check out.

Hello Brian! I work in Deer Park and usually hit the parks there at lunch. Have found some good finds.

I just moved to Houston too, I have a hard time distinguishing between Harris County and Houston City Parks.

Houston city parks will have a "City Of Houston" on the rules sign, while the county owned precinct parks have a sign with the precinct number and county commissioners name. ( Precinct 3, Steve Radack County Commissioner)
