Six $1 coin spill

[Toothpick]

Hunting waist deep in a freshwater lake. Not finding much of anything and then BAM my first modern dollar coin. Admired it for a few secs and then BAM,BAM,BAM,BAM,BAM......5 more for a total of 6 all in a small 5'x10' area.

Man those coins wernt very deep and hit like a ton of bricks in the headphones.

LOL...I thought the exact same thing. I cant remember the last time I even had one $1 coin in my pocket, much less jump in a lake with a pocketful

About 6 years ago I went camping at a National Forest campground which had an automated pay machine. The change I received from the machine were all $1 Presidential coins. You could only pay with paper money, so over the course of several days of paying for my campsite I had a nice stash of $1 coins built up. So, first trip to town to pick up some stuff and I had a bulging pocket full of $1 coins which I used to pay for purchases. I'd bet that particular campground has quite a few lost $1 coins in it built up over the years.
