Skunked again on box of halves.... Oh wait a minute .......

Did a box of halves and a box of nickels after I got back from my excellent road trip to Cajun Country.

Thought I was going to get completely skunked on the halves. No silver, and I was checking the last of about 50 74Ds for a double die when I said to my daughter "well looks like nothing in this..... Oh, wait!" Yep, the very last 74 D was a nice double die! In near BU shape too. My 2nd one this week after a dry spell of at least 3 or 4 months for double dies. Not silver, but I'll take it.

Got a 1942P War nic out of the nickels along with a handful of pre-1960s. Not great, but better than nothing.

I need to pick up the pace to meet my goal of 200 war nics this year. I think I have about 110 now. Gotta count em up pretty soon.

Off to New Mexico this week for work. Will see if I get anything there.
