Most recent hunt includes a bucket lister for me, crotal bell intact with the clanger (clapper?). Lots of other cool recoveries too including a Washington, women's compact, slick IHP, pocket knife, mower modified quarter, Red Goose Shoes token, Canadian dime and a toy car. Lotta fun. It is words, numbers and or symbols stamped into the blade base. Usually to identify the maker and/or model.
Here’s an example on one of my knives.
