Slightly off 1972 kennedy

My camera just broke, so much for being able to upload a picture, but...

I was CRHing the other day (I think I'm doing it wrong, 10 boxes no silver ) when I came across a 1972 no mint mark. The coin is in good shape, but 70% of the last T in "TRUST" and half the Y in "LIBERTY" are missing. It just kinda fades into nothing. No bumps or signs of it ever existing (I looked at it with a magnifying glass).

Is this worth hanging onto? Ill try and find a camera after work.

It sound like it might be a grease-filled die error. Grease or some sort of substance gets on the die when the coin is being made, and it causes bits of the coin to not emerge from the planchet.
Those sort of errors are relatively common, and not valuable to my knowledge.
