There is a huge wooden side to a vessel there and lots of very old bottles and bronze spikes lying around, probably this wreck

How deep is that kevin? I like bottles

About 15 ft to the seabed but the wreck is in about 6 just off the beach, if you are ever in that area let me know.

The bottles are certainly from that time, I saw a wonderful Blakenheim and Nolet square gin bottle there.....ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1483906016.357747.webp

There were also old beer bottles from the same time.

Man thats a beauty. Sweet. Maybe this coming may.

That's an image off the internet but it's the same as the one I saw there

Old bottles are neat and a piece of history as well. Collect enough of the right types, you will have a collection worth preserving with a story to tell. Not likely any foreign governments, will step in to challenge your finds either.

Tommy Gore is trying to sell his bottle museum in Georgia.......

On Tuesday, January 27, 2015, I had the opportunity to visit with Tommy Gore at his home in Alma, Georgia. Tommy Gore is quite well known in the ship wreck community. From 1966 until 2002, Tommy was a Salvage and Exploration Field Agent for the Division of Historical Resources in Florida. He was present during many of the discoveries that occurred of 1715 salvage operations. Tommy took the time to show me his personal museum which contained a world class bottle collection. Tommy has agreed to participate in the 1715 Fleet Symposium at the Vero Beach Museum of Art in July 2015. It is anticipated that he will be part of a round table discussion regarding topics to be announced.
