Slots silver streak continues!

Someone has dumped a serious amount of silver at this casino! The 40%ers are still popping out with a higher frequency - 44 today from $500 (65x4, 66x7, 67x8, 68x15, 69x10) and I found my first Franklin (1951-D) from a machine, plus I got my first foreign coin from a slot, a 2005 Australia 20 cents which is just a bit smaller than a US half.

All of this would have been plenty, but here's the topper. Once in awhile a quarter, SBA or Sac will pop out. I couldn't believe my eyes when a 1908-D Barber quarter appeared in the tray among the halves!!! In the 11th hour I earned a spot my own "Oldest find of the year" list! It's very worn (about a third of the reverse legend isn't readable) but it's still an amazing find.

I'm gonna try to visit a few more times soon before this silver gravy train stops!

actually no slot machine will accept a silver coin. the machines use an electronic coin comparitor. the sample coin is clad. so all silver coin inserted falls back into the tray. you get silver coin from a cashout because the casino fills the hopper not because people are playing with silver coin.
