Sluice Box Question

Hi all, I’m really new to sluicing. I bought a 8” x 38” aluminum sluice box with a dream mat. I also installed the leg kit. I want to make it into a recirculating sluice. My question is: I can’t seem to find a header with a submersible pump and hose that will fit it. I’ve found them for a 6” and 10” width but nothing for an eight inch. Any suggestions? Get some aluminum or plastic and bend one up for yourself ! A lot cheaper and instant satisfaction of doing it yourself !

I used to run a stream sluice as a cleanup sluice by blocking the end with a piece of wood screwed in place. Center of the wooden piece I drilled a hole and threaded in pvc slip to thread adapter to a valve/barb and used a piece of carpet affixed to the top to act as a damper flap to slow and flatten the water flow.

heres my tip.run all your dirt though a 200 mesh screen ,sit the 200 dirt a side.thats most of the mud,run the rest of the dirt and the water will stay allot cleaner,then the the 200 last. i do this on my blue spiral bowl.work great. and pvc is cheap and easy to work with.good luck
