I'll start this off by saying a place is never really hunted out if you have patience. Woman parked next to me told me her boyfriend hunted here a lot 10 years ago. Clearly he missed a good bit of stuff. Got some buckle frames, a musket ball, some lead shot balls, a suspender clip, a war nickel, an early 1910 wheaty which is now my oldest wheat and that knife which may be able to be saved and function again. Of course the star of the show is the Spanish silver.

Great Spanish silver. Looks like it still has some nice detail. Congrats!

I agree with you 100% RBD- I've been hitting the same park for 25 years, I'm on my 5th machine and still finding lots of keepers. That Reale is incredible- great finds!

Thank you everyone. Wouldnt have found it without my detecting friend tipping me off to the location. Looking like im taking him here and hes taking me to field he found a lot of early buckles and hall marked sterling spoon.

I'll admit it was pretty cool to wash of a one real in stream used by settlers in 1700s. All you can really see on the front is the word "que" the date of 1752 and the bottom of the globe. This is the pillar and globe variety no bust on the front. Any idea on buckle age?

No such thing as " hunted out". You had yourself one heck of a great hunt. Major congrats on the real. It's a beauty for sure!

It was a heck of a hunt. Pulled an
1838 large cent and an 1890s token here in the fall. Lots of old wheats. But omg the shell casings and shot gun shells are everywhere.
