We had a nice wet snowfall on the front range this last Wednesday, when I headed out to do some work in Ouray. Going up to higher ground on Colorado 285 was a son of gun, as it was very slushy and I got stuck behind two snowplows kick'n the slush from one side of the road to the other. This went on for at least 15 miles and some folk were risking getting around these snowplows on the right shoulder and one dufus got a little sideways when the plow completely plastered his view with the muddy slush as he passed on the right. Out of all that, I came up with at least one plan to box in a Loomis truck using two snowplows. Up in the high country the weather was beautiful, brisk and sunny. It's all looking like spring here in Colorado and the rush to enjoy the alpine is on, as the motels are starting to fill up with more guest.
